While Working as a PCSO for Northamptonshrie Police, Natasha was asked if she would trial patrolling on Cody. It started with patrols on Cody, but as the role progressed, Natasha was asked to do harecoursing patrols. Cody is not very brave in open country and so Natasha enrolled Jay into the operation and he did all the off road patrols and Cody stuck with towns and villages.
The Launch of the Volunteer program and PCSO on Horseback
Natasha and Cody/Jay Patrolled the East Northamptonshire area for 3 years before the project was disbanded. In that time both horses had been great ambasadors for PCSO’s and prevention of rural crime. They were in a number of media campaings for the Police, helped train Police Cadents, and attened fetes and schools to promote police presence in the community.

Inspiration strikes
Natasha is on a fantastic Facebook site called the Artful Farmers Wife and she saw a request for helping a new magazine which was starting up. It was a farming magazine for Children. Natasha contacted the
lady, and due to her adventures with Cody, she offered to write artices called Cody Investigates where he Investigates wildlife and the crimes associated with the animal. For the first one she chose Hares as at the time there were lots of Hares in the fields I was living in, and becasue she used to do Hare coursing patrols with Jay. Her offer was accepted by the lady who ran the magazine and we wrote
for the magazine for nearly 2 years. During this time she had come up for the idea for my first book, and after a few full starts, she completed it, had it printed, and now it is available for sale.
